Sparkling druzy quartz coats light blue Chrysocolla that appears to drape an unusual formation. The mystery of this piece is revealed on the underside where it shows that the Chrysocolla is covering bladed crystals that represent pseudomorphs of Malachite after Azurite in a double replacement. The chrysocolla is on top of and partially replacing malachite, which itself has replaced azurite. It is rare to find chrysocolla pseudomorphs in such excellent quality!
