Natrolite is a member of the zeolite group, known for its slender, needle-like crystals that often form radiating sprays or fibrous masses. Typically colorless to white, but sometimes tinted by impurities, natrolite has a silky to vitreous luster and is composed of hydrated sodium aluminum silicate.
