Okorusu Fluorite (Namibia) | “Honey Pocket” fluorite cluster, yellow fluorite crystal, mineral specimen

This Fluorite from Okorusu comes from the newly discovered "honey pocket", named after the golden yellow hues. It has fantastic lustre and an intensely rich, honey yellow color, with a blueish black centre. It exhibits excellent contrast of the two colors, with the opaque phantom in the center, surrounded by translucent crystals. It glows with only a minor amount of backlighting, in a striking display of colour. It has very little damage save for a few nicks, which are only noticeable upon close inspection. An exceptional piece from the famous Okorusu mine!

Fluorite is best displayed in strong LED lighting, and shows optimal vibrancy when backlit as shown in the photos. Keep out of direct sunlight, as fluorite is UV sensitive.
