Adamite from Mexico is renowned for its vibrant, luminous colors- most famously the bright yellow crystals from the Ojuela Mine in Durango. Forming in radiating clusters, sparkling druses, or sharp wedge-shaped crystals, Mexican adamite often glows intensely under UV light thanks to trace impurities in its zinc arsenate structure. These specimens showcase the rich mineral diversity of the region’s oxidized ore zones and remain highly prized for their eye-catching fluorescence and striking contrast against the dark limonite matrix.
