The Okorusu Mine, located in the Otjozondjupa region of Namibia, is one of the most famous sources of high quality fluorite. Operating as a phosphate and fluorite mine, it is particularly celebrated among mineral collectors for its sharply formed cubic and octahedral fluorite crystals. These occur in a variety of colors including deep purples, greens, blues, yellows, pinks, and colorless specimens, with some showing multicolored zoning.
