Black tourmaline, otherwise known as schorl, is a prominent mineral found in Namibia, particularly in the Erongo Mountains region. This area is renowned for producing some of the world’s finest black tourmaline specimens, characterized by their deep black color, high luster, and well-formed prismatic crystals. This specimen features black tourmaline combined with a clustering of sharp and lustrous smoky quartz crystals.
