Confetti agate from Indonesia is a rare variety of chalcedony that is characterized by colorful flecks and specks of other minerals, often chrysocolla and native copper, trapped within a clear or translucent matrix. This unique pattern is created by mineral-rich fluids that were trapped during the solidification of the silica. These stones are valued by lapidaries and collectors for their abstract and one-of-a-kind aesthetic.
