Jeremejevite | blue Jeremejevite crystal, rare mineral specimen from Namibia

Jeremejevite is an uncommon alumino-borate mineral found in select pegmatite environments, and rarely forms good crystals. What makes this piece stand out, is its rather large size, standing at 2.2 cm tall and 0.8 cm wide. Jeremejevite is typically found in much smaller sizes. The piece is a lovely shade of pastel-blue, with milky translucency, causing the soft color to really pop when backlit.
