Okorusu Fluorite (Namibia) | green & purple fluorite crystal, mineral specimen

This large cluster of Fluorite from Okorusu has fantastic lustre, and an intensely rich green color, with hints of purple on the outer edges. The color is unbelievably saturated, appearing almost black when viewed in normal indoor lighting. It glows with fierce intensity under a strong amount of backlighting on the outer edges, and across the entire piece when illuminated from the side. There is very little damage on the piece, with just a few inconsequential nicks along some of the cubic crystal edges. An impressive example from this world famous locality!

Fluorite is best displayed in strong LED lighting, and shows optimal vibrancy when backlit as shown in the photos. Keep out of direct sunlight, as fluorite is UV sensitive.
