Chlorite included quartz from Pakistan forms when quartz crystals grow in the presence of chlorite-rich hydrothermal fluids, trapping visible chlorite plates and sprays within the crystal lattice. These inclusions often appear as mossy green phantoms, internal “clouds,” or sharply defined growth layers that record pauses and shifts in the crystal’s development. The high clarity quartz found in northern Pakistan provides an ideal host, allowing the chlorite to remain sharply visible and creating striking internal landscapes.
