This specimen is composed of two lustrous, translucent crystals with the classic and vibrant blue fading into pale hues that is typical of bi-color blue cap fluorapatite from Zimbabwe. The sharp, fine striations highlight the glassy lustre, creating an impactful piece for its size. The larger crystal has one small ding in an inconspicuous corner. Fluorapatite from this locality is extremely difficult to find on the market, with most pieces coming from old collections. Older collection labels often generalized blue stones from Zimbabwe loosely, and this one was incorrectly labeled as Euclase. Due to the incorrect label and age of the collection the specimen came from, an exact mine locality cannot accurately be provided.
