This beautiful shattuckite specimen from the Tantara Mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo displays a botryoidal exterior with a stunning cross section revealing fibrous, radial growth. The tightly packed fibers create a subtle chatoyance, which look like a silky shimmer as light moves across the surface. This piece was part of a very small find several years ago, few specimens exist on the market today.
