Fluorite from the Xianghualing Mine is prized among collectors for its exceptionally sharp crystal forms, and luminous sea-green coloration. Specimens from this famous Chinese locality often display translucent octahedral crystals perched dramatically on matrix, sometimes with ghostly internal zoning or delicate phantoms visible within the crystal. Part of the larger Xianghualing polymetallic ore field in Hunan Province, the mine has produced some of China’s most aesthetic fluorites, celebrated for their luster, translucency, and elegant sculptural growth habits.
