Herderite from Pakistan is prized for its exceptional transparency, sharp crystal form, and pastel green hues. Found primarily in the granitic pegmatites of the Gilgit-Baltistan region, Pakistani herderite typically occurs as well-formed wedge-shaped to tabular crystals in subtle greenish or colorless tones. These lustrous crystals are often perched on contrasting white albite or cleavelandite matrix alongside other pegmatite minerals, highlighting their crisp crystal faces and brilliant vitreous luster. Coveted by both collectors and mineral enthusiasts, Pakistani herderite represents some of the finest examples of this relatively uncommon phosphate mineral.
