Tourmaline from Pakistan is renowned for its clarity, vibrant color contrasts, and sculptural crystal formations. Mined primarily in the Gilgit-Baltistan region, Pakistani tourmaline occurs in a breathtaking palette ranging from vivid hot pinks and rich rubellites to neon greens, cool mint tones, and striking bi-color crystals. Many specimens grow as sharply defined, vertically striated prisms, often dramatically set on snowy white albite or cleavelandite matrix, creating strong visual contrast.
