Wavellite is an aluminum phosphate mineral known for its distinctive radial or spherical crystal formations. Arkansas, particularly the Ouachita Mountains region, is renowned for producing some of the finest wavellite specimens globally. This specimen is part of an old-stock lot we acquired that was mined 35 years ago.
